Rinse your mouth with warm salt water. Use over-the-counter pain relief if needed. Avoid placing aspirin directly on the gum tissue.
Rinse with warm water. Apply a cold compress to reduce swelling. Avoid chewing on the affected side.
Keep the crown if possible. You may temporarily place a small amount of dental cement (available at most pharmacies) over the exposed tooth. Do not use super glue.
