Growing up as a son and grandson of a dentist, I was always fascinated with science and technology. In dentistry I have the opportunity to use science and technology to improve the dental health of our patients. I also enjoy people and comprehensive dentistry allows me to care for patients of all ages from small children to the elderly. And, I enjoy cosmetic dentistry because I love to work with patients to give them the smile they desire.

In addition to practicing as a dentist in the Baltimore area for many years I have had the privilege of serving our nation in the United States Navy for over 30 years. I served around the world at nearly every level of leadership including senior dental officer of the U.S. Pacific Fleet, and Deputy Medical Officer of the Marine Corps. One of my greatest satisfactions was the opportunity to lead, plan and execute humanitarian dental and medical exercises in rural Alaska and around the world in some of the poorest areas on the planet. I am fortunate to be in the profession I love, dentistry has been part of our family for three generations and I am constantly reminded of the relationship of dental health and wellness and the satisfaction of a beautiful smile!

It’s hard to describe how great it feels to come to work every day doing what I love! Practicing as a dentist gives me a great sense of accomplishment helping others to achieve a healthier smile and improved well-being.

One of my favorite aspects of dentistry is the rapid pace of developing new technologies. My residency at Christiana Hospital in Delaware gave me the opportunity to utilize many of the latest technological innovations available today. I find it exhilarating when new products arrive on the scene that improve not only treatment outcomes but also patient experiences. I enjoy implementing the best of these new technologies into patient care.

Most of all I enjoy seeing patients both children and adults and teaming with them to provide the care they need and desire to ensure a lifetime of dental health.

Nora Seeley is our dental hygienist. She has been a partner in the dental care of our patients for over 20 years. I am fortunate to have her in our office and I consider her the finest dental hygienist I have known. In addition to being gentle and compassionate, she is a superb professional. Many of her patients have avoided the need for periodontal surgery due to her skill. She has many patient followers who will see no one else, I am sure you will understand why when you meet her.

Nora’s life story is even more interesting. She was born in Quito, Ecuador and came with her parents to the U.S. at the age of 4.
